    We provide a range of counselling services, including individual counselling, couples counselling, parent consultation, support groups and courses.

    Our experienced counsellors are trained to address various issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, ADHD and more.

  • How can I schedule an appointment?

    To book an appointment or put your name on a waitlist, click the link and fill out the form for “New Clients” on the Thrive Collective website where we see clients in-person and virtually.

  • How long is a typical counselling session?

    Sessions typically last around 50 minutes for individuals and 75 minutes for couples, but the duration can vary depending on your needs and the type of counselling.

    Your counsellor will work with you to determine the appropriate session length.

  • Is counselling confidential?

    Yes, confidentiality is a top priority. Information shared during counselling sessions is kept strictly confidential, except in situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, as required by law.

  • What should I expect during the first counselling session?

    The first session is an opportunity for you to discuss your concerns, goals, and expectations.

    Your counsellor will also explain the counselling process and answer any questions you may have.

    It's a collaborative effort to create a plan tailored to your needs.

  • How often should I attend counselling sessions?

    The frequency of sessions varies based on individual needs and goals.

    Initially, weekly sessions are common, but your counsellor will work with you to determine the most effective schedule for your progress.

  • Do you accept insurance?

    We generally do not do 3rd party billing.

    You will be issued a receipt for each session to submit to your insurance provider.

    Please check with your insurance provider to verify coverage ahead of time.

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

    We understand that life can be unpredictable.

    Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid any cancellation fees.

  • Can I receive counseling remotely?

    Yes, we offer both in-person and virtual counselling sessions.

    Virtual sessions are conducted securely online, providing flexibility and accessibility for our clients.

  • How do I know if counselling is right for me?

    Counselling can be beneficial for anyone facing challenges or seeking personal growth.

    If you're unsure, you can schedule an initial consultation to discuss your concerns and determine if the counsellor is the right fit for you.
